Migration

Somehow I don't think migration is a good idea, though this is the "final destination" of some of my friends, and also an advice from my father.

I might want to experience a few years staying abroad, especially in countries which are more developed (not only in the sense of economy) and civilized but I don't think I will choose to migrate.

Migrating is like...abandoning your original nationality, which is a very core identity of everyone. You will be addressed as American, or Australian or Singaporean, and no more Malaysian. You will have to learn new national anthem, melt yourself into others' culture etc.

Like my mom said: The place where you were born and raised will be the best place in the world, even though you might not earn the most amount of money or the highest title in this place. For people who were born at place and grown up in a few places...I don't know, but I believe that there is a bond between us and our home countries.

For some people, this doesn't matter. Money will create bond to everything in the world. Sounds sad huh?
